ALS Digital is a UK Shopify agency. We design and develop Shopify websites for brands that want to launch quickly and spend their time selling, not maintaining a website. We set up the theme, apps, payments, tracking and integrations, and can run the site's Google Ads and SEO after launch.
Price guide: From £2,500 for a straightforward website to around £15,000 for a complex build with integrations. You get a fixed written quote after the briefing, before any work starts.
How we work
- Briefing. We learn how your business sells, who buys from you and what's slowing you down, before anything is designed.
- Recommendations. We suggest what's worth building and what isn't, so the budget goes on what will make a difference.
- Fixed quote. A written price for the agreed scope, with no surprises later.
- Design and build. A site designed around your products and customers, not a pre-built template with your logo on it.
- Launch and grow. Tracking from day one, then SEO, Google Ads and development support if you want them.
What’s included
- Technical SEO and tracking as standard: structured data, redirects from your old URLs, GA4, Google Merchant Center and Meta
- A theme designed around your brand and products, not an off-the-shelf template
- Site migration from WooCommerce or another platform
- App selection and setup
- Product, collection and navigation structure for SEO
- Integrations with stock, accounting and fulfilment systems

Common questions
Is Shopify cheaper than WooCommerce?
Usually cheaper to launch, because there is less custom build. It can cost more to run, through monthly plan fees, app subscriptions and transaction fees. We compare the total over three years before recommending either.
Can you move my WooCommerce website to Shopify?
Yes. We move products, customers and order history where the data allows, and set up 301 redirects so existing rankings are kept.
How long does a Shopify build take?
Usually 2 to 4 months from the signed brief to launch. Shopify handles the hosting, checkout and payments, so there is less to build than on WooCommerce.
Do you look after Shopify sites after launch?
Yes. Every new site comes with a 3-month warranty for snags and issues. Shopify handles the platform's security itself, but themes and apps still need looking after, so we recommend a review at least every 3 months, on a retainer or as needed. Many clients also keep us on for new features, Google Ads and SEO.
How much does a Shopify website cost?
Our Shopify websites range from £2,500 for a straightforward site to around £15,000 for a complex build with custom features and integrations. Shopify's monthly plan and any paid apps are extra. We don't just install a theme: every project begins with a briefing, where we look at your products, customers and goals and suggest what's worth building. Then you get a fixed written quote.
